Braeside Meat Market is a full service, organic butcher shop. We provide information on our farms, the pedigree of the meat and cooking tips on how to best prepare your purchases in your own kitchen. Enjoy a traditional experience with an experienced block man, who is always behind the counter to provide you with your favorite cuts and special requests and to offer you help in selecting the perfect cut of meat, game or poultry. At Braeside you can get to know your butcher, watch how meat is prepared and learn which cuts to buy. Our meat is additive free. This means our fresh cuts of meat never have coloring, water, chemicals, salt, or any other preservatives added to them. Our sausage is made with all natural seasonings and our bacon & other smoked products are minimally processed, have NO chemical preservatives, are nitritre and nitrate free, are low in salt and sodium nitrite. Why is Braeside Meat is so much better? We only carry pastured meats raised on small, local, sustainable farms. The animals are not given grain, antibiotics or hormones and have a strictly vegetarian diet. Breaside buys from only a select few farms around the country that are willing to meet our standard for ethically-raised, grass reared meat.
