Dance Centre

General information

Children learn to dance as individuals moving within the confines of their own space and development and learn the skills of dancing with a partner or in a group. Teamwork, co-dependence, discipline pattern recognition, creative design and an introduction to theatre craft are all part of the development. For those who are not keen to be a ‘Ballerina’ we also offer Dance Mouse. This outstanding, age appropriate dance syllabus includes basic styles such as modern, hip hop, latin as well as cheerleading, gymnastics, silk training proprioception skills and much more creating strong flexible bodies. After pre-school, pupils then progress to Dance Centre which offers more specialized classes in ballet, tap, modern, hip hop and musical theatre.
