General information

Skydive Mossel Bay was established 19 years ago. We are situated on the beautiful and scenic Garden Route and half way between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.

Whether it’s your first jump or you’re an experienced skydiver, Skydive Mossel Bay offers a unique experience. The Drop Zone is a member of PASA (Parachute Association of South Africa) and Aero Club of South Africa and operates to the highest safety standards. When you obtain a skydiving license from Skydive Mossel Bay, your license will be internationally recognized through the FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale).

If it’s your first time then a Tandem Skydive is an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime! You will not only enjoy the thrill and excitement of freefalling on your very first jump, but you’ll also experience an exhilarating scenic flight over the Mossel Bay area which lends an eagles view of the Indian Ocean, Outeniqua mountains and beautiful beaches. Flying above the clouds and falling through the South African skies at 200km/h is an adventure you will always remember and treasure. Enjoy our regular 10,000ft guaranteed tandem exits or a 14,000ft exit. This is the highest tandem skydive available on the continent of Africa and is offered only at Skydive Mossel Bay. Our twin turbine King Air Skydiving aircraft is one of a few skydiving aircraft in the world which are capable of such altitudes.

If you would like to take up skydiving as a regular sport, then our programs such as the Static Line or Accelerated Freefall Courses will put you on the right track.

If you already a skydiver, Skydive Mossel Bay provides a King Air 90 twin turbine aircraft fully kitted with jump seats, step and handle bars and normal jump runs are at 14,000ft. We also have 3 Cessna 182 aircraft which we regularly employ to keep the action going when there are not enough skydivers to fill the King Air.

We have great coaches, creepers for your briefings and a classroom with a Large flat-screen TV for debriefs. We also expanded our facilities with shower/toilet block, camping area and braai for your own use.

We offer instructional rating courses to become a Tandem Instructor, AFF or Static Line Instructor.
