General information

Cecile Sasman found LeCielStudio in her home town, Stellenbosch, during April 2015. She is a qualified BASI (Body Art Science International) Mat Pilates Instructor, an enthusiastic entrepreneur & a Neolife independent distributor.

While growing up, her passion was Ballet while also enjoying doing Pilates & various other sports, social & cultural activities. After completing her BA Humanities & Post Graduate Diploma at Stellenbosch University, she moved to South Korea for 6 years, where she taught English. She enjoyed exploring other parts of South Korea; traveled to a few other countries; & attended Ballet & Salsa classes.
During 2014, she attended the BASI Mat Pilates Instructors course in Seoul, & completed her exams in Camps Bay, Cape Town in March 2015. BASI is an International Pilates Company, priding itself in its various professional instructor courses.

LeCielStudio has grown greatly & is very proud to have Jieun Geum & Dinah Dick as part of the team. They also qualified with BASI. They add their own personality & flavours which give a great variety of sessions.

The Mission of LeCielStudio:

To guide people of any age to –
• become aware of their body’s capabilities;

• improve their mindful movement;

• incorporate their practiced movement in their daily lives.

LeCielStudio focusses on movement to be initiated with the Pilates lateral or intercostal breathing method to assist any effort made by the body & mind.

LeCielstudio believes in a holistic approach to health & wellbeing which
includes Neolife’s –
• Cellular Nutrition to help end the trend of chronic illness & fatigue;

• Biodegradable & concentrated cleaning material which can form part of grey water & saves the environment from toxic chemicals & ungradable plastic

LeCielStudio also invites other modalities to the floor, such as Nia, Yoga & TRE, which are exciting & attentive methods to enhance the experience of mindful movement.

LeCielStudio supports other professional opinions & kinesiology-, chiropractic-, sport massage therapy-, physiotherapy- & psychology practices to help enhance the clients’ Pilates practise routines.
