Delarey House

General information

Set in the quiet suburb of Pretoria North and situated in a tranquil panhandle, the facility was originally utilised as a speech therapy centre for children when discovered by Gerard and Yvette Stoop in 2006. Delarey House is centrally situated plus minus 7km from the Pretoria CBD and conveniently close to several shopping centres and other amenities. Delarey offers excellent security and safe undercover parking.
The guesthouse bears the same name as the street in which it is situated, namely Koos de la Rey, which refers to the renowned Anglo-Boer War General JH de la Rey. Several period artifacts dating from the late 1800s and early 1900s are on display on the premises.
The guesthouse was opened for its first guests in January 2007. An extensive period of five years of transformation followed whereby the farmhouse personality of the property was kept intact and further rooms were added. It was renamed in 2015 to Delarey House, which now offers all the 3-star-rated service offering required for by the discerned traveller and guest.
