General information
Albert Lombaard joined the insurance industry in 1986 as a representative with Old Mutual. During his 10 years with the company he gained valuable experience in all aspects of the industry.
He left Old Mutual in 1996, forming his own independent brokerage Lombkor as he felt he was able to offer his clients a wider variety of options. He has been running the company successfully ever since.
Based in Knysna for the past 12 years, Lombkor has since acquired Outeniqua Consultants thereby expanding his client base. Albert travels extensively throughout the country to assist his clients wherever necessary.
Lombkor also has the services of three other representatives. Mariette Smit is a specialised short term broker and is based in Pretoria. She has been in the industry for many years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience within the short term insurance industry.
Irfaan Mentoor is a life and medical aid specialist who is based in Cape Town. Formally from Discovery, his knowledge and experience within his field is endless.
