The Mall At Scottsville

In 1979 we opened our doors and began trading in Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg. Over the years our modest shopping mall has grown in popularity and today we provide the residents from Scottsville and the surrounding areas with a convenient shopping alternative to larger, overcrowded malls.

The mall recently underwent a facelift which was completed in 2014. During this redevelopment we reorganised our tenant groupings to offer our shoppers a more relevant and enjoyable shopping experience. These extensive renovations to both the upper and lower parts of our 14 501m² shopping Centre - undertaken by the owners and managers, Redefine Properties – included upgrades to the exterior, restrooms, décor, walkways, signage, ceilings, lighting and even the fixtures. Now fully renovated, our mall continues to enrich the daily lives of our current shoppers and regularly attracts new customers.

Today we have over 40 stores which offer an array of goods and services, including banking, eateries, fashion, health, beauty and much more. Anchored by national retailers Checkers and Food Lover’s Market, our shopping mall delivers one of the best community shopping environments Pietermaritzburg has to offer.

We may not be a sprawling regional centre, but we have something which larger shopping centres don’t; heart. The community is at the centre of everything we do and we will continuously endeavour to facilitate an enjoyable, safe, hygienic and family orientated shopping experience for our shoppers.
