They often combine manipulation with techniques to release tight muscles and soft tissues. Advice on stretches, exercises and training methods are also involved. Chiropractors take a holistic approach to care – meaning they not only treat the injured site but also correct any loss of function elsewhere in the body that may have contributed to the injury. By improving the mechanics of the whole body the aim is to prevent re-injury, optimise the way the body works and help someone perform at their maximum capability
