Our Vision
We aim to improve the life of the children who attend our school by equipping them with the necessary skills to be able to take their rightful places in our society with confidence and dignity.

Junior Class
Sunfield Home School – Langholme is a small homely school for the intellectually impaired.
It is conveniently situated just 15 minutes from Gateway, Umhlanga just off the R102 route to the King Shaka International Airport.

The vision of the school is to improve the life of the children who attend it by equipping them with the necessary skills to be able to take their rightful places in our society with confidence and dignity.

We aim to provide a “home-from-home” caring environment where intellectually impaired youngsters from the ages of 6 to 23 can learn and develop to their full potential.

The School was establish in 1972 on a farm previously owned by the Armstrong family. It has provided a meaningful learning and homely environment for hundreds of intellectually impaired children as well as offering a support structure for their families.

Our motto “Growing with Love” is central to our holistic approach in recognizing that every child’s abilities outweigh their disabilities.
