On 13 March 2006 Gagasi FM went on air for the first time with just over 500 000 listeners. Today, just over four years later, this radio station is the favourite of nearly 2 000 000 listeners across KZN, and consistently feature as one of the top 10 radio stations in the country.

Gagasi FM is a contemporary radio station with a strong local identity and is the only bilingual commercial... radio station in KwaZulu Natal, broadcasting in both English and isiZulu. We recognise the KZN region and serve the listeners’ information and educational needs through specialist features and focused events/promotions.

The station boasts lively and talented on-air presenters and the music format offers a diverse mix of R&B, Durban Kwaito, Afro House, Afro Pop and Classic Soul which is carefully selected for popularity

The station’s content includes dedicated lifestyle features and specialist slots including music, news, sports, traffic reports, competitions and on air features. We are music driven and conduct regular research exercises to ensure that listeners only hear what they want to hear.
