JWR started off as a close corporation, but was transformed into a company in 2007. Today, JWR Financial Services (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of JWR Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
JWR Financial Services (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Financial Services Board as an authorised financial services provider (FSB5721) and the company's registration number is 2007/005717/07.
