Stellenbosch Entrepreneur and Enterprise Development

SEED has assisted over 800 entrepreneurs with various business resource support services that include business training and mentoring, business plan assistance, directives towards funding and start-up capital, and establishing and feasibility studies of business.

The SEED program has developed a structure that enables the development of micro and emerging enterprises from disadvantaged communities throughout the Western Cape of South Africa, particularly our hometown of Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. SEED’s program is client focused, aiming to address the unique growth needs of each entrepreneur. SEED then facilitates appropriate development interventions such as:

- Fundamental business skills training for emerging entrepreneurs
- More advanced business skills training for innovative entrepreneurs
- Mentoring support services that guide from business start-up to business success
- Sourcing sponsored professional services; equipment and capital to enable capacity building

Our program is funded by the Finland/South Africa Association (FSAA) as well as through private donations throughout South Africa, Europe, and the US.
