What happens in the rehearsal room ends up on stage or on a recording. Your musical reputation can either grow or decline as a result of your performance. We believe the best inspiration is found when you’re focused and at ease with the song writing & performance process, you know, in a space that takes care of you, while you, take care of your business,your music!

We present you with Kill City Blues – Rehearsal & Pre Production Studios. Three rehearsal rooms,refurbished and kitted out with kick ass new equipment (PA system, microphones and basic drum kit), extended storage.

Our mission? To further the performance and recording quality of Cape Town & SA’s finest bands and musicians on the principle of the 3 P’s: Professionalism, Pre-Production and Performance!

Rock & Roll might be down and dirty but it’s a lot easier to make in a clean, comfortable environment with all the right equipment. Do your music a favour and get a room! (And, yes, it is available by the hour). We’ll even give you a helping hand, and by that we mean that people with sound knowledge are available to orchestrate your technical setup for every rehearsal session.

With us, you can tailor your time to suit your band, schedule and vision. We’re flexible and professional, and insist on clean, clear sound quality. Kill City Blues is more than just a rehearsal space, it’s a space where we, as musicians want to rehearse, push the limits of our abilities and prosper!

Monday – Friday (Evenings)
18:00 to 21:00 – R85p/h (R255 for 3 hour session)

21:00 to 00:00 – R85 p/h (R255 for 3 hour session)

Fridays – 18:00 to 21:00 ONLY

*only 3 hour block booking slots

Saturdays and Sundays (WEEKEND SPECIAL)

12:00 to 15:00 – R75 p/h (R225 for 3 hour session)
15:00 to 18:00 R75 p/h (R225 for 3 hour session)

Monday – Friday Daytime SPECIAL

10:00 -18:00 (3 hour slots only) – R75 p/h

Sessions can be as long or short as you want over weekends!

Kill City Blues Services

Kill City Blues provide:

- 4 rooms with PA system & speakers each
- Drum kit (own hardware required – cymbal stands, snare, kick drum pedal etc)
- Microphones(including mic cables) and microphone stands
- Refreshing ‘cold drinks’

You bring:
- amps
- guitars, bass, drum hardware and other instruments

Recordings:

We lay down full production recordings, e.p's and basic demos for bands to showcase their talent to venue owners, festival organizers and potential investors/record labels and brand sponsors.
