General information

Soto was established in November 1998 using the combined expertise of partners: Sandra Hunt, Tracy Philp and Teresa Marsiglia. Soto’s first store opened at the V&A Waterfront, with an addition of Canal Walk in 2004.

Soto offers an exclusive range of locally designed, high fashion clothing for women with the aim of having at least 2 or 3 new styles in store every week. The most appreciated things about Soto are our amazing fits, which aims to enhance the beauty that is already there, as well as our original styling, exclusivity and great selection.

To guarantee exclusivity, we manufacture almost all of our clothing ourselves in Cape Town, with the exception of knitwear and coats, and only small quantities of each style are made. The brand is only available at Soto stores and at a small handful of exclusive boutiques around the country.
