General information

African Ivory Route provides adventure travellers an opportunity to visit remote and fascinating places in Limpopo Province and to experience the cultures of the local communities.

Recently revamped, the camps are rustic, hidden gems. New linen, and en-suite bathrooms have been added to the camps.

All camps are unfenced from their surroundings, and have 5 units with 2 beds in each. All have communal self-catering facilities with gas for cooking, communal dining and communal camp/braai fire area. There is limited solar electricity, place to charge a cell phone with a USB charger, and for the most part, road access is rough. These camps are ‘off the beaten track’.
