General information

Today, the Chevrah Kadisha Group encompasses four major organisations:

Sandringham Gardens is the Chev’s primary aged facility, offering a holistic approach to care, ensuring the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of residents. 0115329600

Our Parents Home is a smaller, more upmarket facility than Sandringham Gardens, offering a specialized Alzheimers Ward and day care programmes for elderly people who don’t stay on the premises. 0114897000

Selwyn Segal is our facility for people with special mental or physical needs. It embodies an ideology of protection, hope and ability over disability. 0114837530
Finkelstein TLC is the first school for Jewish Children with special needs and children with mental and physical disability.
Kibbutz Lubner is a farm located in Midrand where the residents farm the land and produce a delicious range of Selwyn Segal Products including Veggie Chips, Jams, Horseradish and more.

Arcadia is the Chev’s children home. Most children have been placed here via protective custody. It’s a place of safety where we provide care for young people during transitional stages of their lives (pending court finalization, pre-foster care placements, or temporary safe care during social worker investigation). 0114837507

Through the vision of communal leadership, the Chevrah Kadisha has consolidated multiple welfare organizations under its umbrella. This has enabled economies of scale, a professional management infrastructure and an holistic approach to meeting the community’s needs. All support services are managed centrally including fundraising, finance, and operations. This infrastructure enables the General Manager of each of the organizations to focus on caring for the needs of their residents.
