Prior to establishing Western Sensation I traveled around the world as trader in hard commodities, which is as interesting as it sounds! So what did I do to spice up my travels? I’m a lady – so I shopped of course!
The more I traveled the more I learned about places, cultures, people, and the special things that can be found. I brought back gifts for family, friends and colleagues; gifts that were unusual, interesting, and that could not be found at home. It wasn't long before I went from simply buying gifts to being asked to find gifts for others.
Often they wanted something highly exclusive, or a brand name. Whatever it was I was able to get them something special, original and interesting. Soon I was spending more time shopping than trading so I decided to make shopping my business hence Western Sensation was born.
Here you will find gift ideas, most are limited edition, many are simply one of a kind, all are unusual and different. Each and every one will be received with a smile. We can also have something specially commissioned for you if you can't find just the gift you want.

Making it Special
Personalized Presentation
We work with some of the world's most brilliant craftsmen and spend a lot of time visiting workshops and studios. They are passionate about their works and we are proud to be able to offer them to you. But note that a brilliant sculptor is not necessarily any good at wrapping presents!
Therefore, we personally gift wrap all items ourselves for free. If you contact us beforehand we can arrange for special delivery and add a special message for the lucky recipient.
A Gift For You
Yes, we all know that it is better to give than to receive. Sometimes, when we are searching high and low to find a lovely items for the collection have then we find something else to buy as a treat to our self. It may be a box of handmade chocolates from Vienna or a set of rustic beeswax candles from the Cotswold, who knows? But if the chocolates are yummy and the candles give a warm glow, we buy some more to send to registered customers as our own special way of saying, 'thank you'.
